About the Course

Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE)??is a collaboration between the Health Services Academy (HSA) and the LUMS Learning Institute (LLI) to offer healthcare professionals a transformative opportunity to refine their professional skills and excel in the art of teaching, training, research and practice within the dynamic healthcare field.

This comprehensive program encompasses diverse topics, centering on teaching, learning, and assessment within the healthcare profession. By utilizing a case-based pedagogy, participants will acquire a robust skill set, enabling them to develop highly effective instructional strategies, design and implement impactful academic and research programs, and adeptly evaluate student performance.

Registration

Participants must register to CHPE online through the 'Register' button on the right and filling out a one-page form. Before starting the registration process, please ensure that you have the following:

1) A passport-sized photograph (small than 2MB) for the smartcard. It should be against a white background.

2) Correct CNIC details.

Incorrect information provided during the registration process will lead to cancellation of your enrolment at any stage, and participants will not be entitled to claim a refund.

Please note: You will be asked to share your qualification certificate/diploma before the commencement of classes.

Payment for the Course

Once you have completed your online registration, you may proceed to the payment section. You have two options for lumpsum payment:

1) Pay online using your bank debit/credit cards through LUMS online payment system:??https://pay.lums.edu.pk

2) Download the fee voucher and deposit cash in any branch of the designated banks specified on the fee voucher.

3) Pay through your online banking app using the 1Bill option. Please refer to the voucher for more information.

Once the payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 to 48 working hours, and your payment status will be updated to "ENROLLED" in the online application portal.

Pay via Installment:

Refund Policy:

Participants are eligible for a 75% refund if a request is submitted??at least two weeks prior to the commencement of CHPE classes. Once the classes have started, no refunds will be issued. However, participants may opt to defer their enrollment to the next CHPE session, subject to availability and scheduling.

Course Outline

Note: LLI may cancel or postpone a course due to insufficient enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the university will refund registration/processing fee (if any) but will not be responsible for any other related charges/expenses including cancellation/change charges by airline and travel agencies.
